Beneath The Clock

I hear the clock arms
Striking every time
And slowly something
Enters into my mind
And than I realize
It is continuously singing my life's rhyme

I see the clock arms
Moving round and round
And eventually I start smiling
Because I feel, my life's running down

The clock arms moves
On and on
The seconds after seconds are
Counted down
And so awaiting beneath the clock
I realize that my life's already gone

I see the clock arms
And close my eyes
I know, they run up and down steadily
So does my joys and strife
And gently beneath the clock
I wish to complete life long miles and die
